Mnemify is an open-source app that runs on your own computer. It is built so that your notes, documents and credentials stay on your machine. This page explains the little that leaves it.

What stays on your computer

We do not run servers that receive, store or process your notes.

Connecting Notion

When you click Connect with Notion, your browser goes to Notion, where you choose which pages to share. Notion then sends a one-time authorization code to a small service on mnemify.ai. That service exchanges the code for an access token, using our integration's client secret, and hands the token straight back to the Mnemify app on your computer.

The service never stores or logs the access token, and never reads your Notion content. Our hosting provider (Vercel) keeps standard request logs for operating the service, such as IP address, time and the requested address. The one-time code can appear in those logs; it expires within minutes and can't be used again after Mnemify has redeemed it.

After that, Mnemify talks to Notion directly from your computer. You can revoke access at any time in Notion under Settings → Connections, or remove the connection in Mnemify.

AI providers you choose

If you configure an AI provider (for example OpenAI or Anthropic) with your own key, Mnemify sends the text it needs to that provider directly from your computer, under that provider's terms. You can use on-device options instead where Mnemify offers them.
